Because there is serious meaning behind those words.Why is Saying ';I Love You'; Such a Big Deal When it Comes to Relationships?
If I told you I was seriously going to kill your mother and father, would you just consider them words?
If somebody told you seriously that they hate you and don't want to talk to you again.........would you consider them just words?

Well, obviously you shouldn't be saying it if you think it's no deal. Kids nowadays just go shooting those words out like a marshmellow gun and expect nothing to change. People think it just means something like 'i like you' or 'you're cute'
Love is a commitment, meaning you care for this person and would do anything for them. Whether it's keep them safe, happy, sane, or all of the above.
When you say 'i love you' you're basically saying 'i want to be with you for a long time' and 'you're the only one'.
And if you're lying when you say that, it breaks the recipients heart to find that out.
Be careful what you say, lovie.
cause love is a big deal. don't tell someone you love them if you don't. and trust me you'll know the difference. the first time or two you might even think you love them but you don't.
just don't say it unless you mean it. wouldn't you rather tell your first real love that you love them for the first time rather than some guy you like for a week,
Exactly because THAT IS THE EXACT reason, everyone makes it out to be such a big deal even though everyone says it in 2-3 months of dating..
A genuine I love you is a big deal because it means the commitment between the two of you is true.
i think that people make a big deal about it because it is a big deal!
you can't just say the words you should mean them.
and sometimes people may be scared to feel that way.
and therefor they may be scared to say it.
and there is a lot of emotion there.
It signifies and marks your emotions for that person.
Its supposed to awaken the soul and make you ask for more.
But everyone over rates it and tosses it around like its nothing.
Most relationships aren't even worth those three words.
My friend (girl I like) calls it the ';L-Word'; haha she said to only say it if you truly mean it. I guess if you say it you really mean it haha, I plan to say it to her one day! :)
cuz it means, i want to spend the rest of my life with you and you're the only one for me.
Because some people take those three words, in to a whole new level. Sometimes its not worth saying, if its not true
Because we love to hear it especially if it is true.
because love means commitment.. they are not normal words...they are words that speak to the heart from another heart
its not always true, so whats the point of saying it
