Australia is a multicultural country. In my family we have Italian Dutch Austrian Aboriginal and Irish, we are all Australians. Have any of you Australian women been in any interracial relationships before?
We don't tend to use the word 'race' in Australia, we just refer to someone's ancestry or ethnic background. But yes, because Australia is the most multicultural country in the world it's quite routine. My husband has ancestry form Burma, Holland, Japan, England, and Singaporean Chinese. There are relatively few people of African descent in Australia, although the number is increasing rapidly with many new immigrants from Sudan.
Depends how you differentiate between different groups of people. I mean Im from Scandinavian background, while my boyfriends background is Slovenian. Looking at the two of us, we look like we are from the same background. Yet we aren't. Australia is extremely multicultural and we have people who have come here from many different countries and differing cultures.
this race concept is an american problem, thats why negros like it here no one cares, no KKK, no american BS
I'm white, my man is black (Aboriginal)
